Hi! I am Sanjukta Krishnagopal and this is my personal website. It is an amalgamation of the various parts of myself. Hence, the name chimeraki.
I am a UC presidential postdoctoral researcher with joint appointments at UC Berkeley, and UCLA. My research involves developing theoretical and computational tools in data science, network science, and explainable to machine learning to understanding complex systems - from bridging the gap between machine learning and computational neuroscience for understanding foundations of efficient and generalizable learning mechanisms, and building data-driven biological models for predictive and personalized medicine, to understanding social interactions and the source of biases in society. Learn more about my research here. I travel whenever I can. I have been fortunate enough to have lived on 4 continents and traveled to over 70 countries. I captured some of these beautiful places on my camera. |
I enjoy artistic pursuits - I write poetry and short stories, and often paint. Some of my artwork can be found here. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, backpacking, diving, and dancing. I also like reading books, and reading people! During (and outside of) my travels, I have volunteered with several organizations around the world. If you are interested in learning more about my experience, volunteering yourself, or looking for resources and organizations that I have experience with and support, please see here, or contact me! I am also a member of the Women in Network Science scientific committee. I host a fun women in science podcast, check it out! |
